Book Review (2010) - Trading in the Zone: Master the Market with Confidence, Discipline and a Winning Attitude by Mark Douglas
The author has captured all the psychological mind bending factors about trading. Not only that he offers good advice on how to overcome them with exercises that all new trade...rs should endeavour to follow. It is easy to avoid responsibility for your own trading, switching from one strategy to the next,
never really achieving consistency. The authors exercises can overcome this as long as you maintain discipline and stick to your plan.
Moreover, his insight into what the trader may feel emotionally is captured very well with sound reasoning used to overcome them.

Book Review (2009) - Reminiscences of a Stock Operator by Edwin Lefèvre
Every page of this book resonates with experience and understanding of market trading. The writing style is maybe a bit flowery for the modern reader but the content is as relevant to today's markets as anything we have read on the science and practice of trading. The writer won and lost millions of dollars as a speculator in stocks and commodities during the first half of the 20th century. The writing style is very honest about the ups and downs of his career. If you are a trader of any description you will almost certainly benefit from reading this book. We give 5 stars!

The book "The New Market Wizards" tells the stories of some prominent traders in the USA back in the 80's and 90's. The stories about them are very inspiring because each of th...e so-called "wizards" came from different backgrounds. Also each of them have different styles, principles and psychology in trading. Despite their differences, each of them managed to be successful. Reading the books gives one a taste of those differences in styles and psychologically. While one may not agree or conform to all of them, it is still good to see things from different perspectives. The bottom line is all of them became successful traders at the end of the day.
